The Poison in words ;; INVITE

Dylan walked around the Lake, wondering how Lora and Frodo will react to the news if they didn't know. They might be thinking right now that she went to Greece for some fun, but no. She had to get kidnapped. Kait, kidnapped!

She sighed, and plopped on the ground. "What am I going to do?"

Lora had got Dylan's owl and she could already sense that it was something bad. She wondered if it was something to do with them and went to talk to Kait about it, but could not find her anywhere.

As she neared the lake, she saw him sitting on the ground and immediately ran and ended up falling on top of him. "Sorry," she mumbled with a sheepish smile but the smile faded when she took in his expression. "What's wrong?" She asked quietly.

He almost fell, but he caught himself in time.

"Um... we better wait till Frodo gets here. I don't feel like explaining twice." He held Lora tightly. Oh how he was relieved that Lor didn't come with Kait today.

Lora nodded her head, her expression showing the worry she was feeling and hugged Dylan just as tight. She didn't know why he was doing so and murmured simply, "I'm here, not going anywhere." She didn't hear the approaching footsteps and only realized when she heard the person talking.

As Frodo walked towards the lake, he was still feeling confused as to why Dylan would send an immediate owl. Hope, it isn't anything bad, he thought nervously.

He frowned slightly when he saw that Kait wasn't there as well, just Dylan and Lora. He suddenly got a sick sort of feeling and pain and the words he blurted out were, "Where's Kait??" He rubbed the back of his neck and forced himself to calm down.

He waved weakly towards Frodo. "Hey." Then he coughed slightly. "Um... I found out... uh." He took in a deep breath.

"Kait, sneaked off to Greece in middle of lessons. Then she.... then she got, well, kidnapped." He whispered the last part, then grew angry. "Kait! Out of all the people! She shouldn't, she deals with enough stuff in her life!" He rubbed the back of his neck .

The words rang loud and clear in Frodo's mind. Kait. Greece. Kidnapped. He sank to the ground and stared at Dylan, hoping this was just a joke. But his gut feeling told him it was true. He closed his eyes and took uneven breaths, feeling a panic in his chest. He shook his head slowly and asked in a whisper, "H-How did you k-know?" He buried his head in his hands, trying to block out all the negative thoughts.

"She what?!?" Lora shouted in shock and hurt. "Sh-she's gone??" She immediately felt tears in her eyes at the thought of her best friend kidnapped. This was exactly she warned Kait whenever and she couldn't help but feel slight anger towards the Hrabrost for brushing off the warnings every single time. She got up from Dylan's lap and went over to hug Frodo. "Don't worry, we'll find her," she murmured. She looked at Dylan with a scared expression and asked, "We will find her, right?" She was ready to do just about anything if it meant they could find Kait.

He hesitated. "A professor told me. She told me, to tell y'all." He brought his hands to wring his hair.

He nodded, not completely honest. He wasn't sure if they could find her. "Yes. We will find Kait."

He took in a shaky breath. "Who should we tell?"

Frodo hugged back and stared at them with a broken expression. His Kait was gone. Probably some sick psychopath took her for fun. The thought made him feel anger. He was never the type who had a temper control problem, but he knew that he'd go get in a fight with whoever had the guts to kidnap his girl. Though he was sure Kait could handle just about anything, he wondered if it was beyond her limit. No, they had to come up with a plan.

"Well, we should definitely tell Anya and Lena. I'm sure they'd want to know," he answered Dylan's question in a quiet voice. "Is there any adult we can trust?"

Lora vaguely recalled Kait mentioning about meeting a Professor in the passages. Another Parselmouth, apparently. She wondered if Dylan and Frodo were aware of it and if they could really trust her. "Well, there is someone," she began. "Kait had met another Professor who happens to be a Parseltongue...I guess we could tell her." She told hesitantly. "What do you think?"

He nodded. "Kait always had a good sense of who to trust. And she only had friends who was different." He attempted a weak chuckle. "I think we should trust her. After all, if we find her, the Professor has an advantage to tell some snakes to search for her.

As if on cue, two snakes slithered up. One, he recongized with no problem. It was Liath, and the other was one he had only seen once. He remembered Kait telling them that Gray Moon had a temper.

Liath poked Dylan's red shirt, as if she was asking where Kait was missing. Dylan had to admit, Kait had intelligent snakes. "Missing." He said, he hoped the snakes could understand. When the snakes blinked at him, he shook his head. "I need a Parselmouth." He muttered. Then he frowned.

"Think Kait taught them a few words in Greek?" He asked Frodo and Lor.
