Lesson 4 4th years

Caleb walked into the Defense against the dark arts classroom to see he was the only one there. Caleb scoffed. "Now I'm the nerd" Caleb said out of no where. Caleb took a seat and sighed. Damn, was this really happening, he was never ever the first one to a class, the last one maybe but definitely not the first. Caleb sighed and got out his wand and book for the class. This was going to be boring.

Thomas walked into class to see Caleb sitting there by himself. Thomas walked over and took a seat next to him. "Well if it isn't my friend" Thomas said to him with a smirk. "So what were you doing here by yourself, besides being hyper or tired" Thomas asked.

Lena couldn't believe that the year had passed by so quickly, and soon she was going back to Durmstrang. Even though she couldn't wait to go back to the Uchitel Common Room she was going to miss Hogwarts.

The Uchitel sat on a chair close to the windows, admiring the view.

Angel walked to the classroom. The last class. It seemed like the year was drawing to a close. Angel didn't really mind. She was running away to France to track down LaRue residence. Or, at least what remained of it. She didn't know why she wanted to, but it used to be her house.

Walking into the room, Angel quickly slipped into a seat toward the back, not wanting to look at anybody.

Caleb heard other people come in and saw Lena, Angel, and Anya walk in. Caleb saw Angel and smirked at her. He knew she was trying to hide so he turned to the front and waited for the professor to come in. Caleb just needed to get threw this last lesson of the year and then he'd be set for summer break.

Paloma walked into the last Defence class of the year and looked around. She would really miss Hogwarts, but Durmstrang was waiting for her. And she was surprised she actually really missed it.

She waved at Angel, Caleb and Thomas and sat close to where Anya and Lena were. It was weird for Paloma the fact that they'd barely spoken a word to each other the previous year, and yet now they were friends. But it was a nice type of weird. She had been a bit of a loner for her first few years at the school.

"Hey guys," she greeted them with a small smile.

Thomas was about to talk to Caleb when he saw him look in a different direction. He turned to see the girl Angel, the one Caleb seems to be taken by. Thomas hit his shoulder. Thomas waved at Paloma when she waved to him. "Dude, pluck up the courage and ask her out already" Thomas said loud enough for only Caleb to hear.

Damian hurried into the Defense classroom, anxiety written across his face - only to sigh in relief. His mentor hadn't arrived, yet. He could only imagine the trouble he would have gotten into for being late.

"Hey." The temperamental Hufflepuff actually offered a smile to some of his classmates, so relieved he was to arrive before Master Chaos. He took out a seat and leaned back, waiting for the man to arrive.

Rhys literally tripped into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom (something which, to his credit, he had not done for at least half the year). He managed to right himself, again, without incident.

Scratching his head, he gave a sheepish smile. "Last lesson of ze year, yes?" he said, accent thick, though his English was much more comprehendible than it had been at the start of the year. "Ze von question is, am I still late if I beat professor? I vote no."

Shooting a tender smile at Lena, Rhys took a seat at the end of row, since there wasn't a seat open closer.

Blaine drags himself into class and slides into the seat next to thomas. His potion was stupid the world was stupid class was stupid. he sighs quietly andplaces his burning face on the cool desk and feels a calm smile stretch across his face. it felt good. His eyes, bloodshot, began to burn. He shuts them tightly. he felt like utter garbage

Lachlan entered the class and walked straight up to the front, he opened the file containing the lesson plans and skim read over it, he then turned towards the class

"Hello everyone, im Lachlan im not actually a Professor but unfornately Professor Chaos is held up in a very important meeting so I will just be filling in. So to kick things off, who can tell me what the Confundo charm does?"

Rhys was a bit surprised to see someone other that Hogwarts' headmaster walk in to teach the lesson, though, once explained, it did make sense that the man was busy. So, Professor Lachlan must have been one of the substitutes.

"It makes ze victim confused, yes?" Rhys answered after raising his hand. "Confundo... is very good to make time for other spell."

Lachlan struggled at first to understand the two Russian students who spoke, but after concentrating he manged to understand them through their thick accents

"Yes that's correct, so well done to the both of you. So the wand movements for this spell are that you hold your wand firmly then swish it in a anticlockwise direction and give it two sharp flicks" Lachlan then clasped his hands together and looked round the class

"So lets just practice the wand movements first"

Rose took a seat on the class she saw a man who was Lachan." Lachan why you her where Professor Chaos." Rose was shocked he better not tell her dad about this thing i bet this is shocker in her mind.Rose just sat and waited for an aneswer still wanteding to hurt someone cuz of her brother dumb mind.Rose just sat and opened her book still confused . Rose just wondered about stuff.Rose wasnt happy one bit she will just tell Lachen to tell her parents about this.Rose just took a seat then wrote a bit then she just wondered.Rose just sat and wondered a bit.

Damian took up his wand to mimic the wand movement with everyone else in the class. Perhaps he could skip a year? No... that would mean more work and less time to just do as he pleased. Still... the idea had its appeal. It wasn't as though the curriculum was challenging him in any way.

He'd have to ask Master Chaos about it the next time he got a chance.
