Home Alone..?

October 18th

Riley's eyes flashed open. It was sometime in the morning, and she'd never dare get up this early. But she had that instinctive feeling in her stomach, and slid out of her bed.. which was pretty much a fraying matress, a sheet and a pillow.

She pulled a jacket over her nightgown and walked downstairs, and the whole house was dark, only being lit by flashing lightning outside.
"Mom?" She asked, looking around. Nothing. She opened her mother's room with a creak, and the door skid across the floor loudly.

Where is she..? Riley wondered to herself, and walked out of the room silently, still searching the house.

She looked outside, the horse was gone.

Seriously? she thought, and lit a candle, walking outside with it to the barn.

"Primetime..?" She asked, warily stepping inside and raising an eyebrow. Just.. Peachy...

And with that she shook her head, going back inside. She slid out her wand and walked up to her room, laying down on the tattered matress and pulling the sheet over her, twirling her wand and muttering, "Lumos.."
